Wrapping a 4Runner
The 4Runner is a lot of surface area, and that's the main thing to know going in: SUVs take more film and more hours than sedans, and the payoff is proportionally dramatic — a full color change transforms a vehicle this size completely. Matte Military Green, Matte Charcoal, Satin Black are the finishes we see most on this platform.
The Utah part
SUVs here live outdoors: trailheads, canyon roads, ski lots, summer sun at altitude. Film choice is where that shows up — premium cast vinyl with a 7-year warranty, matte and satin finishes that don't telegraph wash marks, and optional PPF on the hood and rockers where gravel does its work. Roof racks, trim, and handles come off before wrapping so edges tuck out of the weather.
Cost and time
Plan on $4,200 – $5,800 for a full color change with premium film and about 6–7 days in the studio, including disassembly and reassembly. Partial work — roof, hood, accents, chrome delete — prices well below that.
